Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Kigali

Meet & greet at Kigali International Airport and transfer to Kigali Serena Hotel.

Day 2

Kigali → Volcanoes NP

Visit Kigali Genocide Memorial. Transfer to Volcanoes and check-in at Virunga Inn Resort & Spa. Lunch and complimentary lodge activities.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking — Volcanoes NP

Briefing and gorilla trek (groups of 8). Afternoon Ellen DeGeneres Gorilla Fund campus visit.

Day 4

Volcanoes NP → Nyungwe Forest

Early Golden Monkey trek, then drive to Nyungwe via Gisenyi lunch break. Check-in at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel.

Day 5

Chimpanzee Trekking — Nyungwe

Early chimp trek in Cyamudongo Forest. Afternoon Canopy Walk above the rainforest ravine. Special tea-plantation dinner arrangement.

Day 6

Return to Kigali

Morning relaxation, early lunch, drive back to Kigali via Ethnographic Museum in Huye. Transfer to Kigali International Airport.
